JR and SR Academy

Our Academy programs are a skilled based COED program targeting 9-12 years old for JR and 13-15 years old for SR run by certified coaches. The goal is to learn more about the skills and abilities required to become a better soccer player through specialized practices with specific goals. 

JR Academy is every Monday and Wednesday Afternoon  while SR Academy has a Tuesday Afternoon session and a Thursday before school session.

Academy programs have several intakes during the year (Fall/Winter and Spring).

Excel Academy

Excel Academy is for our most advance players with certain skills and experience and it is also COED. This program requires an application and a coach approval in order to be accepted. Excel can be Soccer focused or Futsal focused, depending on the interest of the player. 

This program offers one annual registration, but if there are openings or available spots, it can accept late registrations depending on approval by the coaches. 

FEMALE ACADEMY

Our female programs are designed to spark the interest of girls in the sport and want to practice in a all female environment. Our female package offer the girls academy on Tuesday nights, the opportunity to join the all female futsal team on Wednesdays and the opportunity to join a travel program as of March.

TRAVEL PROGRAMS

Travel teams are weekly practices every Sunday for all players who would like to participate in the sport at a competitive level.

WUFC has two major trips in the season, 1 in the fall to Richmond and 1 in the Spring to Kamloops. This trips are to big soccer tournaments with the goal of offering the experience to our players to play against other teams from BC and other parts of Canada. Our club can also participate in other tournaments depending on the goals of an specific team. 

Travel programs are divided by age groups, starting from U10/11 years old, all the way to U16/18 years old, both male and female. Our coaches are certified and follow all the standards Canada Soccer required to run Travel programs, and they also have volunteer team managers to assist with fundraisers and trip needs. 

Travel programs is an annual registration but can accept late registrations through the year depending on the space of each team.
